Early morning, our UncleSam Holidays representative & driver will pick you from your hotel approx 0600 Hrs, and proceed for day excursion tour to Mysore, Mysore also known as city of palaces. Explore the art and architecture of various age old monuments located here and learn about the heritage and history of this amazing city.
Via en-route, visit the old city of Srirangapatnam which was the capital of Mysore state during the rule of Tipu Sultan. Visit his Dariya Daulat palace which also houses a museum dedicated to him. After visiting Srirangapatnam, have a sumptuous lunch at a local restaurant.
Later continue drive to Mysore, Upon arrival at Mysore visit the Mysore palace, located in the heart of the city. It is also known as Amba vilas palace and was the residence of Wodeyer Maharaja of Mysore. A fine example of Indo-Saracenic style of architecture, the palace has been converted into a museum that exhibits souvenirs, paintings, jewelery, royal costumes and other items, which were once possessed by the Wodeyars.
After your Mysore tour, you will be driven back to Bangalore and drop at your hotel for night stay.
